Frequently Asked Questions
About Document Solutions Daily
Document Solutions Daily (DSD), from Kworks Publishing, is an up-to-the-minute peek into the complex world of office equipment, document management and production printing.
Joe Kozlowski, owner of Kworks Publishing, explained that "one issue does not bring anyone up to date on the industry, but a daily read builds a narrative and creates an understanding of industry direction that's impossible to replicate any other way."
A kind of secret weapon for executives, marketing and field sales personnel at Ricoh, Savin and Lanier since 1998, Kozlowski's original publication, The Office Products Intelligence Report (The OPI Report), gave insight into the rapidly changing markets served by those companies. Now, he's taking the same approach to a daily service for anybody who wants to have an edge in the industry.
All an imaging professional has to do is sign up at the DSD Web site to get a daily dose of fresh information, delivered straight to his e-mail in box. Instead of scouring the Web or depending on monthly magazines, these busy executives and sales people will have the latest information on hand each day.
DSD provides a brief synopsis of a development, followed by hyperlinks that allow its readers immediate access to the original sources of information.
"The news is 'pushed' out via e-mail directly to the subscriber's desktop," Kozlowski said. "They don't have to go anywhere, don't have to look for anything. All they have to do is skim the headlines and follow up on the news that has a direct impact."
Kworks Publishing operates on the understanding that the flow of information is key to career success. DSD is dedicated to aiding professionals in their quest for success.
"Some news services will allow you to buy a few key words and deliver 10 or 20 articles a week for a cost of thousands of dollars a year," Kozlowski noted. "Magazines may be free, but they only arrive once a month or two."
In comparison, Document Solutions Daily will keep its readers on top of today's news stories, press releases, white papers and case studies as they're published in literally thousands of news sources globally — and all for less than the price of a daily cup of coffee.
Kozlowski pointed out that the newsletter can be a great resource for professionals who are looking for new assignments in the industry. "The candidate who has the freshest, most up-to-date knowledge ... is the most attractive candidate," he said. "If you're competing with candidate who lost track of the events of the past three or four months while between assignments and you have the latest information, who do you think has the inside track for a new assignment?"
